Hello!
Yes, it's true! I'm getting my head shaved for charity. We've had some good times, my hair and I, but it's time it went to a better place... So! The plan! On Wednesday 19th May, I'm going to shave my head for your (yes you!) viewing pleasure. It will be a momentous occasion, and it's all in the name of a good cause. And what do you have to do for such a treat? Well, I'm glad you asked. Originally, I'd planned to set up a just-giving account, and equally split the sponsorship money you kind people would donate between Arthritis Research UK and Cancer Research UK. However, unfortunately, they don't do it that way, meaning I've had to set up two separate accounts. So here's the deal: if you donate equally to each of the accounts, I'll post lots of lovely photos of me getting my head shaved, in all its graphic detail, for you all to laugh at. I might even try and get a small part in the local press, so it can be a public spectacle. Sound good? Great! As I'm sure you know, both charities are great causes, and anything that anyone can donate would be absolutely fantastic!
