Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Ealing half marathon this year with my daughter Pippa and friends, having run the Edinburgh half marathon last year with my other daughter Phoebe. The run is in aid of UCLH charity, which is helping fund the building of a new Specialist Blood Cancer Centre.

This is to support my son Jamie, who relapsed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in April and who will be in his 9th cycle of chemotherapy whilst we run. His challenge is so much greater than ours and he faces it with such bravery.

Please give generously; UCLH is perhaps already the best in Europe and supporting the new centre will help the treatment and research necessary to continue to improve the prospects for those unfortunate enough to have been diagnosed with blood cancer.

About the charity

We're the official charity supporting patients, staff and research at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust. We focus on four main areas. Supporting patient care Training and developing staff Environment and equipment Advancing research.
