As you may know I recently joined the Campaign Development Board of The Place2Be. In the short time that I have been involved it has become even clearer to me how important the work that the charity does is. For me, the happiness and wellbeing of children is incredibly important - I hope that you can spare some of your hard earned money to help me reach my target! After all I will be dragging myself around 42k and am not as young as the last time I did it!

 

About The Place2Be

The Place2Be is a charity working inside schools to improve the emotional well-being of children, their families and the whole school community. The Place2Be was established in 1994 in response to increasing concern about the extent and depth of emotional and behavioural difficulties displayed in classrooms and playgrounds.

The Place2Be currently works within 155 primary schools supporting 51,000 children, their families, and the wider school community. Their counselling services help stop the downward spiral into problem behaviours by enabling children to cope – instead of caving in or lashing out. The result is happier children with better prospects, and that benefits everyone.
