Reduce waste to help Sea Shepherd · 27 December 2015

Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK (founded as Sea Shepherd UK in 2005) is a marine conservation charity whose aim is to defend marine wildlife around the UK & across the world’s oceans. CPWF-UK uses innovative tactics to investigate, expose and take action when necessary to defend ocean wildlife.

Story

The main picture is a sea-turtle disfigured by a tiny plastic ring from a drinks bottle. 8 million tonnes of plastic is floating around in the world's oceans.

Please support us as we under-take this deceptively difficult challenge:

Use no single-use plastic drinks bottles or cans for the whole of 2016.

The activity is to raise awareness of the problem of plastic pollution, especially in the sea. We will be avoiding cans as well because that's obviously just as wasteful. This will be tough for us because we love fizzy drinks! All funds raised go to Sea Shepherd, who work to protect the world's oceans.
