By trekking the Great Wall of China I am aiming to raise £4,000  for Place2b.

This will allow Place2b to provide support to schools for years - reaching up to 2,430 children.

£50 will provide a child with 1:1 counselling service.

£25 will provide 3 children with drop in place-to-talk sessions at school.

Children are far less likely to suffer from serious mental health difficulties in later life if they receive support at an early age, providing an improved quality of life for them.

Promoting a positive mental health improves a range of positive school outcomes, including attitudes to learning, better attendance and lower exclusion rates. 

I am looking forward to this challenge as a way to make a difference in children's lives.
