In my day job I head up the Youth Justice Board in Wales. 

I started out as a volunteer mentor to a young man who had got pretty far in trouble with the law. But as I continued through different jobs in a youth offending team, in policy and now taking national responsibility for monitoring and supporting community and custody youth justice services across the country - there's one thing I think makes the most difference for our young people.

Someone who'll listen, someone who cares and - most important -someone who'll never give up on them. No matter how many slips along the way to a happy life.

Llamau is full of people like that. Help me help them to help some of our most vulnerable young people.
