Pennine Way · 8 September 2018

The Eve Brook Scholarship Fund is for young people, aged 16 – 25, who have grown up in residential or foster care with Birmingham City Council. It is a scheme to celebrate the achievement of young people who’ve been looked after by giving them help to go to college or university.

Story

In September I will be embarking upon a 268 mile journey, by foot.

I am attempting to walk the Pennine Way, within two weeks, to raise money for the Eve Brook Scholarship Fund.

The Eve Brook Scholarship fund supports young people from the ages of 16 - 25, who have been in care, by giving them the opportunity to go onto higher education at college or university. The fund has given over 200 grants to date.

The charity is in its 20th year, and is aiming to raise £20,000 in 2018.

I have started training - walking the canal route from Worcester to Birmingham and back again in one weekend! My walking boots are at the ready - I just need your support to get me from start to finish!

Please donate anything you can to this fantastic cause, and support the Eve Brook Scholarship Funds 20th year.
