Hello lovely people, thanks for dropping by!
Last November, my sister and brother in law sadly lost their baby, Max. They were treated at Guy's & St Thomas as well as the Evelina Children's hospital.
The care provided at the hospital was amazing and what the healthcare professionals did for Sarah, Matt, Theo & Max was incredible. Above all, the treatment they received was a wonderful example of how well our NHS can work- it was a huge humbling collaborative effort between Guy's, Evelina and King's that brought together world leading experts.
A few months ago, at a follow up appointment, I had the privilege of meeting a couple of members of the team who cared for Max: I was very moved by the passion they had for their job and ensuring that Sarah and Matt were thoroughly looked after and that their needs were considered.
So, this is my little way of saying thank you, and my little way of creating a memory for Max.
