Training has begun for Kevo and Cockers' assault on the Madrid Marathon! For the first time, on 25 April, we will be experiencing the bleeding nipples, blistered feet and physical exhaustion that go with long-distance running. We will not, however, be running just for the supposed ‘fun’ of it and wish to dedicate our efforts to the committed work of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Teenage Cancer Trust is an organization geared to supporting teenagers and young adults suffering from serious illness, namely cancer. The charity builds specialist units and provides tailored care for young persons to ensure that they can lead as normal a life as possible in the face of serious adversity.

Being young and healthy individuals, we hope that you feel the desire to support our fundraising efforts for a charity which helps fellow young people whose lives have been affected by unforeseen illness. All of us are vulnerable to sudden and unexpected afflictions and, by raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, we can acknowledge how fortunate we all are and support those who find themselves in life-threatening circumstances.

Many of you will have witnessed the fabulous work of carers and NHS workers in recent months and we hope that you can show your support to them by donating as much as you can afford.
