The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

In March 2007 24 intrepid Ernst & Young colleagues will be taking part in two separate but equally gruelling corporate challenges across Costa Rica and Namibia.

They will be enduring high temperatures, humidity, rough terrain and the irritating bad habits of their colleagues as they run, cycle, kayak, raft and abseil 250km across the Contental Divide in Costa Rica and the Namib desert in Namibia.

Their target is to raise £70,000 in total for one of our corporate charities, the Prince's Trust. This is a daunting task, but one that will enable the Prince's Trust to change the lives of young people who have not been fortunate enough to have a good start in life. Over £40,000 has already been raised personally by the team.

With the help of friends and colleagues they are looking to smash this target and not only beat our competitors (yes amongst others, KPMG will be there!), but more importantly raise more money than anyone else in the process.

The team is: Adam Farhan, Adrian Mariadas, Alastair Treharne, Dan Ogilvie, Anthony Francis, Cedric Parentelli, Emma Postlethwaite, Iestyn Matthews, James Wilson, Jemma Denning, Jon Stephens, Karen Macara, Kate Wootton, Luke Kobiole, Matt Hart, Nic Pike, Nick Dennif-Jones, Nick Sawyer, Oliver Latham, Raakhee Lakhtaria, Rebecca Busfield, Simon Anderson, Sonia Aranda-Dickens, Tim Knockton and Verity Cochrane.

Please help as much as you can by donating through this site. The money goes straight to the Prince's Trust and don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box so that the tax can be reclaimed.

Many thanks for your support.
