We provide specialist palliative care to patients suffering from terminal illness

Story

Firstly I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 21st of January unfortunately my mother aged 55 at the time was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and on the 3rd of May she passed away.At first like many people ,including myself I was completely lost and numb in regards to coming to terms with my mothers illness ,however gradually overtime I learned and was aware of the reality of the illness.

In my mothers remaining months she attended the Southern Area Hospice which had benefited her hugely.I am so grateful for the hospice,in order for me to show my gratitude towards the Southern Area Hospice and in memory of my mother I am going to run 150KM overall between the 3rd of May and the 3rd of June.

All proceeds raised will go towards the Southern Area Hospice.
