Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Over recent years, Police Officers throughout East Dunbartonshire have helped local charities through fundraising activities.  This year, a number of our officers will attempt to climb the three tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales; Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon.  Some willing, others will be dragged up and down, all within 24 hours.  That works out at over 3400m climbed, plus the endless journey between each ‘big hill’.

This challenge is our biggest to date.  Our determination to complete the challenge is driven by raising funds for a worthy and fantastic facility, Buttercups House, who provide respite for young people with complex, learning and physical disabilities.  This care is imperative to the young people and their families. 

Buttercups House is based in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, to which the 9 members of staff can support up to 3 young people at one time.  Our fundraiser will provide fun experiences for the young people through days away and go towards sensory equipment.
