Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·

We believe everyone should have the chance to build the best life they can, no matter how it started off. We empower young people who've grown up without hope and give them the confidence and the skills to find work, realise their potential, and value themselves.

Story

I am a firm believer that everyone has a story and whether it becomes or defines you. Tomorrow’s People are an amazing charity who reach out to those that are committed to make a positive change but need a helping hand to do so. They have been forgotten by most and often have been dealt a pretty bad hand in life, but Tomorrow’s People have 30 years of inspiring and challenging stories of people they have assisted in turning their lives around in a lasting way. All of the individuals involved in the charity are superb and obviously hugely passionate about what they do. The individuals they help have a constant smile on their face and just want to give back to others that have been where they once were. I am so proud to be running
the London Marathon to raise some money on their behalf.

So it’s time I put my long spindles to good use and train in earnest to make a respectable go of it. I have the frame of earth worm Jim and like forest Gump I enjoy running for long periods, so hopefully all of this stands me in good stead for being able to complete the 26.2 mile course!

Please, please dig deep and donate what you can to support the great people at Tomorrow’s People and me!
