Story

You'll all have figured out by now that I am animal mad, either by my halting any and all conversation with you so I can make awkward mimes to a dog on the next table at a local coffee shop...or because I've screamed "stop the car" causing you to panic for your life...all because I saw a donkey or a particularly friendly looking group of cows that needed my desperate attention.

It's no surprise then, that I have decided to enter my 30's with a fundraising event...and the best part is you don't have to pretend to like anyone's baking to get involved. I'll do the hike and you can just donate a few pounds...but together we'll be supporting an amazing Charity looking after all of your favourite animals (and you can even go for a day out to see the fur babies you've helped).

So, the first week in September, I'll be taking on Scafell (only England's highest mountain) to thank you for your donations...and I'll make sure to share videos on my Instagram for those wishing to virtually come along for the journey. ..my husband Matt will be taking on the peaks with me so, if anything else, it's worth a pity pound or two?

Thank you to anyone that donates, it really is appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. About the charity

The sanctuary gives a permanent home to over 550 farm animals rescued from neglect, cruelty, starvation and abandonment. We campaign peacefully to improve conditions for farm animals and conditions in livestock markets. At the Sanctuary farm animals are for life and not for slaughter.
