Story

Hola

Ed here, again, and thanks for visiting my justgiving page and for your support last year in raising over £1,000 for the NSPCC.

Did the Brighton marathon in 2015 and yeah - got the T Shirt. They hand it to you on the finish line. Anyhow getting to and getting round Brighton can be a bit of a nightmare so decided it will be quicker to run (by that I mean jog/walk) there. So it's just a simple case of putting one foot in front of the other for 100 Km!

Should be just a (long) walk in the park no? In any case it should keep me off the streets for a while and all in the name of a worthy cause....

The NSPCC are the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

The NSPCC introduced the Childline Schools Services (http://www.nowiknow.org.uk/about/) in 2010 with the aim of visiting every primary school to talk about bullying; physical abuse; mental abuse; emotional abuse and sexual abuse.

I’m looking to raise £650 to contribute to the work the NSPCC does for children and this will help the Childline School Service reach every primary school in the UK. If the next generation of children have the knowledge to stop abuse then we can take the historic out of these abuse crimes and protect our future generations. FULL STOP.
