My family recently received some terrible news that our 29 year old son and brother, Edward (who had lived on Koh Samui in Thailand for the past 4 years), had passed away. A couple of weeks earlier Eddie had broken his leg. He suffered a massive pulmonary embolism as a result and unfortunately did not survive.

Eddie loved living in Thailand and it is for this reason that any donations made in memory of him will go towards the Thai Children's Trust. He also volunteered at a Thai orphanage when he first moved to Koh Samui and so we feel that this is a charity that Eddie would also have chosen.

As you may know Eddie was exceptionally creative. He has spent the last few years in Thailand setting up two very successful businesses; one, Blue Surf Art sold paintings all around the world (www.bluesurfart.com) and a second, Glypt, carried out web design and 360 tours (www.glypt.com). He worked extremely hard. He was also full of life and very popular in Koh Samui. Eddie really did seem to be living the dream!
