Edward's 100K in May

Ethel's illness was something that came as devastating shock to all of her family and friends. It took hold so fast and changed her life in every way. Ethel faced each challenge that was presented in her usual brave and courageous way. Ethel died in Macclesfield District General Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday 18 March. We will always remember the unwavering support of the fantastic NHS staff.
In the final weeks when Ethel's health was deteriorating so rapidly the East Cheshire Hospice Sunflower centre in Macclesfield was a place that Ethel found enormously comforting. Whilst events conspired against us this was where Ethel wanted to be at the end.
We are raising money to help to ensure that the hospice is able to continue its great work for all those others that are touched by illness.
