Thank you for taking the time for visiting my Just Giving page.
As a lot of you will already know, in 2011 I had the worst day of my life and lost my sister and friend at the age of just 18. During the times in Lydia's life that she spent in hospital, her time there was often made easier by things donated to the hospital by the British Heart Foundation. Although I was very young myself I can still remember at one time almost everything in one of her rooms being stamped with "Donated by The British Heart Foundation". Not to mention their continuing research in to heart disease, helping families have more years with loved ones that are born with, or develop, heart defects.
Since Lydia's death I have done a few different charity events to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and this year I have signed up to run the London Marathon. I'm not exactly designed for marathons, so if you could raise my morale to go out and train by donating whatever you can afford, it would be hugely appreciated.
