Cambridge Half Marathon 2023 · 5 March 2023 ·

Suffolk Accident Rescue Service volunteers provide an enhanced resource to help treat critically ill patients who need urgent specialist care before they reach hospital. All our doctors and paramedics volunteer without charge and we rely on voluntary donations to support our life-saving activity.

Story

I'm very excited to share with you that I will be running the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 5th March 2023. For those who know me well, you will know that this is a huge undertaking and will genuinely be a couch to half marathon effort! However, I know for certain that this will be for the best cause, as I will be running for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS). They work endlessly to provide life-saving care to anyone and everyone at their time of need. Working alongside these colleagues in a Suffolk based hospital has given me the privilege to watch them in action. As someone who has not once but twice been in a situation vulnerable in the hands of first-responders, I know how important it is for us to show our support for charities alike. Thank you for your kind donation!
