Story

Eileen Disbray, beloved mother, grandmother, auntie and friend, was born in Hammersmith, London on the 19th July, 1926 and died in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire on 19th August 2020, aged 94.

Born Eileen Stuart, her and her brother Bernie grew up in West London, and were evacuees in Somerset during the Second World War. In 1949 she married Harry Disbray, and in 1960 moved to Aylesbury, to a house in Quarrendon where she lived for sixty years.

She worked as an audio typist for Bucks County Council until retiring in 1986. Her husband Harry passed away in 1993. She is survived by her two children Martin and Cathy, grandchildren Michael and Maddie, her brother's family in Adelaide, Australia, and by friends in Aylesbury and around England.

In the later years of her life Eileen suffered from arthritic psoriasis, and her family would greatly appreciate any donations left to the Psoriasis Association in her memory.
