I am running my first (and maybe only) full marathon on 1st May 2017 for a local cancer charity after a lovely young lady, Claire Burns, was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has a big fight on her hands and will benefit greatly from the services offered by Cancer Lifeline.
Raising money for this worthwhile cause will give me more of an incentive to get through the weeks of training and the 26.2 miles on the day!!!
