Story
So, last year I did one mile in Lake Windermere. This year, I'm doing it again, but just two weeks later I shall then be in the Great East Swim at Alton water - so two for one :)
I am back in training and yep, its cold, dark and miserable out there, but once in the water, I just count the lengths, and I hope to be back to full strength soon.
For anyone interested in knowing more about CRASAC please go to their web page crasac.org.uk
Its an amazing charity, and I should know - I was there commissioner for years! Those who go through CRASACs services aren't there because they have done anything wrong, just the opposite, they are there because someone else did wrong. Violence changes lives, CRASAC works to put them back together. Like most charities they are dependent on grants and good will. All contributions made from this will go toward the service's unrestricted funds, to build on what they are doing and support what can be done. I hope you will support me, to support them.
