James was diagnosed with a rare, life threatening immune disorder when he was 5 years old. This required a bone marrow transplant and a long stay, largely in isolation, at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Despite putting up a huge battle , James passed away on 12 June 2016, aged just 7. James loved life - he loved football, golf, lego and his cats. Most of all he loved people. He was kind and loving and this charity will honour James' memory by helping as many other young people as we can - funding opportunities they would not otherwise have.
