I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon so I can raise some money for people who are facing homelessness in London.

The West London Day Centre is based in Marylebone and is part of the West London Mission. The Centre provides cooked breakfasts, showers, a team of medical staff, advice and support from trained social workers and much more to help people who face homelessness.  On a typical day, the staff and volunteers at the Centre will help 100 people. Those facing homelessness have so many challenges to deal with on a daily basis.  I feel fortunate to set myself the voluntary challenge of running 13.1 miles to help the Centre carry on providing this vital support.
