In the summer of 2006 my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, that had worsened due to medical staff not noticing an anomoly in his health check. After many sessions of Radiotherapy and a few rocky days and nights we can safely say that my dad is a Cancer Survivor with a very low risk of his tumour returning. 

I have decided to participate in the Birmingham 5K Colour Run to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research, and to thank them for looking after my dad when we felt the world was going to end. It will be a big challenge to participate, what with my medical record and my asthma, but I am DETERMINED to finish.
