I’m 19 and suffering from Anorexia! Only at the end of 2017 having suffered for a long time; going in and out of hospital - I was able to find myself an incredible team to help support me instead of having to go to the mainland UK for treatment! Eating disorders need more awareness and more facilities made available to help support the terrifying growing rate of people suffering and being diagnosed with the horrible illness! Therefore I have decided for my New Years resolution and something to help me through recovery to support FightED which is a charity in Northern Ireland that helps raise awareness by offering training to professionals and parents, loved ones and any one else interested in learning about the New Maudsley method. They have done an unbelievable amount already and I want to ensure I can raise as much as possible and help create more awareness to a horrible illness.
