Hello friends and colleagues,

I am embarking on an epic row this September - 80 blistering miles and 30 locks over 24 hours - in support of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and the KGS Boat Club who is organising this event. 130 rowers and 35 boats will take part and we are aiming to raise £30,000 in total for the charities.

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Reserach is entirely funded by voluntary support and receives no government support whatsoever, which makes its achievements at the leading edge of research all the more remarkable. For more information see http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk.
