I am passionate about the work with Open Doors and have travelled to the Middle East with them in the past to see their work first hand.  The Muskathlon is an endurance event combining an individual physical (and spiritual) challenge with ambitious funding goals.  This event is aimed at raising funds for the work of Open Doors with refugees (from Syria and Iraq in particular) in the Middle East.  It is daunting for me on many fronts - I am a sporadic and not very fast 5k Park runner, and I am a rubbish fundraiser!  But I like a challenge, and I am a passionate supporter of the work of Open Doors.  Please join me in supporting this important work and helping improve the lives of refugees in the Middle East.  Every donation counts in helping me meet my 10,000 euro (!!!) target.  Please note that the trip itself is self-funded so all money goes directly to support the work of Open Doors..
