Anyone who knows me knows i love a glass of wine! I'm going to be going alcohol free for a month to raise money for a charity in memory of a friend lost to suicide in may 2015 at the age of 19. 

This issue is very close to my heart and something i'm very passionate about. I think its so important that we encourage men to talk and get a good understanding of their mental health. Suicide is now the largest killer of men aged 45 and under. 

Dan was someone who always had time for me, and was always there to talk. He was great for advice and always had a massive smile on his face. 

SToRMS stands for “Strategies To Reduce Male Suicide”.

SToRMS’ Mission is to reduce young male suicides by:

1) Facilitating widespread open discussions about suicide

2) Promoting mental well-being and emotional resilience from an early age

3) Challenging gender stereotypes that prevent men from accessing help

4) Highlighting the relationship between alcohol and mental well being.
