Sky diving is something I have always wanted to do, however, it required being a certain bodyweight, which meant I was unable to do it. Over the past 7 months, I decided enough was enough, joined Slimming World and the gym and have now lost 3 stone, which has put me under the weight limit. Now for the first time in my life, I have been able to do and achieve things I never thought I would be able to do. I thought, why not kick start it all with a skydive, I must be crazy :) 

I know I could just do the skydive if I wanted to but I wanted to try and put a meaning to it. Alecs Angels is a charity close to myself and partners heart. Alec’s Angels raise money to support other children and families going through the agony of childhood cancer. One of the aims as specifically requested by Alec was to make children suffering from cancer SMILE. The other is to support the families who, as Alec’s parents know too well, find some of the smaller things in life impossible to manage when dealing with childhood cancer.

Please, will you help put a SMILE on lots of children's faces, whilst also supporting the families? 

The Tandem Skydive will happen on the 17th August, weather depending. Please wish me luck on the day as I will need it. :)
