I am really excited to be part of the 2018 Virgin London Marathon, all the money raised will go towards this amazing, supportive charity. Cancer is brutal and affects one in two of us. I was that one after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2016.

I had to defer my place for the London Marathon in April 2017 as I was recovering from chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. In July 2017, I was told that I had "No Evidence of Disease" (NED status) and I could start looking forward again! I now have a terrific focus and will run this race which has always been on my bucket list! This year it’s on my birthday, which is symbolic to me, as it will be the two year anniversary of my diagnosis.

Just £10 of your money will teach someone how to be breast aware for life at a local workshop. £25 helps Breast Cancer Care train and support breast care nurses for one year. Breast cancer attacks confidence and shatters self esteem. It is a traumatic time and Breast Cancer Care are there to offer the best care for people living with breast cancer today.
