I've worked for Macmillan for 8 years and I'm blown away by so many amazing people I work with everyday... its about time we make a difference ourselves.

I await the day where no one needs our help, but the population is growing and living longer, which means we will be supporting more and more people living with and beyond cancer. From paying for our incredible Macmillan nurses, to funding our website, which plays host to our forums... allowing a carer to message a new friend online, who understands why they are awake at 3am, thinking! Every penny makes a huge difference.

• 7p could pay for a copy of our Money worries leaflet. This features information about how we can help with financial difficulties by giving advice on benefits and information on Macmillan Grants.
• £10 could help a cancer self-help and support group provide refreshments to people attending one of their meetings.
• £51 could pay for a Macmillan Grant that buys a good quality liquidiser for someone who can't eat solid food as a result of their cancer or treatment.
