Mid Sussex RDA is part of the national Riding for the Disabled charity & is based at Chestnuts Yard in Pyecombe. We provide weekly horse riding sessions for adults & children with physical cognitive & social disorders. Our group is run by volunteers. We rely on fundraising to cover our annual costs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I go on holiday every year to the Lake District with my family and always choose a new mountain (sometimes two!) to climb while we’re there.

One of my favourites it’s Catbells. But I’ve climbed a lot of others too! I really like scrambling and don’t mind steep bits!

This year I plan to summit England’s highest mountain - Scafell Pike. It’s going to be really hard but I’m sure I can do it.

And I thought it would be nice to raise some money for children that can’t climb mountains like me but love to do outdoorsy things.

Riding is my favourite thing in the world so I thought it would be great to raise money for a charity that helps get people less able than me into it. I know how happy it makes me, so I want it to make other people happy too. It’s the best!

So I’m going to walk Scafell Pike and ask people to sponsor me for Mid Sussex RDA, to help them help other people by introducing them to horses.
