As many of you know, I've had a rough old couple of years, being diagnosed with stage 2 metaplastic breast cancer in July 2019 the day before my PhD graduation, I underwent 6 rounds of IV chemotherapy, and 3 weeks of daily radiotherapy. Unfortunately, that December during my radiotherapy, I noticed a new lump and it was eventually confirmed that it had come back. I then underwent a mastectomy and had 6 months of daily oral chemotherapy. Its been an asshole, but I'm hoping I'm done now, and according to my last few scans, do not have cancer!!

Macmillan do great work and I have benefitted from their information leaflets, they also offer complementary therapies and offer a listening service to support patients.
