MAG - Battersea Power Station Abseil · 26 September 2010 ·

Every single day, 15 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Almost half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So on Sunday 26 September, I will be jumping off, ok well abseilling down, Battersea Power Station, in order to raise money for MAG.

You may not be that into abseiling or unlike me, not really care too much about Battersea Power Station (my favourite building in the world), but you can all get that warm fuzzy glow inside from donating to such a worthwhile charity, such as MAG - Mines Advisory Group – a neutral and impartial humanitarian organisation that clears the remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I think I have a spare spectator ticket, so the biggest donator might be able to come along and laugh at me in person as I get really really scared!

Thank you in advance,

Ella xx
