On Sunday 19th May I will be taking part in the Manchester 10K run along with MMU Cheer Elite. 

I have decided to raise some money for the Pankhurst Trust incorporation with Women's Aid Manchester which tackles gender inequality and violence to improve the lives of women and girls. They ensure people suffering or are at risk of domestic abuse receive the correct support. 

They offer a range of support and services for women and men including:

Hotline service to talk to someone, health services, Group work programmes, drop ins with women only space, children's playgroups, project and events with local young people and much more. 

The Pankhurst centre was home to Emmeline Pankhurst the leader of the Suffragette movement who helped women today have the right to vote.
