For the first time in about 12 years I will be jumping on two wheels and cycling a whopping 180 miles from the National Police Memorial in London to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

Thankfully I won't be alone and I will be joined by hundreds of other police officers and police staff from across the UK, all of whom wish to honour the memory of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to help protect us.

The ride raises funds for families of those killed in the line of duty to help support them and rebuild their lives going forward.

Anything you can give would be so appreciated - from both the families and myself as I'll need as much inspiration as possible to get me through!
