WINGS is the largest domestic violence housing agency in Illinois, offering a continuum of services including 153 units of housing across Metropolitan Chicago, counseling, financial guidance, legal advocacy, career development, life skills, mentoring, Community Based Services, and a comprehensive Children and Family Services.Since 1985, WINGS has continually produced successful outcomes, working toward the vision of creating a society where every survivor has a voice and the resources to break the cycle of domestic violence.

I have been on the WINGS Board of Directors since 2010, and am currently serving as Board Chair. I am most passionate about our cause and our mission. I have seen how WINGS - all the support and programs this organization provides, the fantastic staff, all our volunteers, and our WINGS graduates - has made a difference in the lives of many. I have witnessed the cycle of domestic violence end with so many families, and strength, love, support, and perseverance prevail!

In celebration of my 50th birthday, one of the best gifts I could receive would be a donation of $50 (or more) to honor the women, men, and children who are in our program, ending the cycle of domestic violence.
