If you are reading this then you will already know that Ellen spent all her life helping those animals she came in contact with who had no one else....be it the kittens found abandoned by kids in the street, the dogs needing foster homes before being rehomed, the baby rat brought in by the cat, the huge owl kept in a  tiny shed which she would not leave so enclosed, the hedgehog she raised in her bathroom which had flu, the unwanted parakeet and the ducks who would swim in the puddle next to her house to name just a few.

Her last wish was that instead of sending flowers for a funeral she did not wish to take place, her friends and relatives were to make a donation to a local animal charity so she could continue to help those animals in need....something that was so important to her.

We, her closest family, are so grateful to everyone who has sent their respects and would love for you to leave a message and/or an 'Ellen' story here so we can look back on them in weeks/months/years and remind ourselves just how lucky we are to have had Ellen in our lives and to have had her love us in a way only she could.
