Our names are Ellie & Amy and we both currently work for Cardiac & Medical Day Stay at Southend hospital!

Working for the NHS has finally taken its toll and we've become mad enough to take part in the Leeds Castle Triathlon..... so why not make it for a good cause! That's a 800m swim, 26k cycle, 5k run!

Due to the growing pressures on the hospital, our ward now accommodates a wide variety of patients. Our hope is to provide a more comfortable and warm environment during their stay, whether that be during their outpatient procedures or awaiting admission.

Cardiac & Medical Day Stay would like to use the money to provide patients with radios, book stands, electronic devices etc.
