Ellie Threlfall's BHF London 10K

BUPA London 10,000 2015 · 25 May 2015 ·
Hello lovely friends,
I have decided to run the Bupa London 10K on the 25th of May in memory of my daddy, and also to make the most of being back to full health myself.
My dad passed away from a condition which The British Heart foundation could have helped, had we known he was suffering, and for this reason I hope any money I make could save someone else's life before it's too late.
I myself have had a very eventful past 12 months - In April 2014 I suffered a Pulmonary Embolism, where a blood clot formed in my leg and then moved up through my heart and in to my lungs. I feel almost 100% normal (if that's possible) and have no excuse to not keep healthy and make the most of my slightly limited lung capacity and get off my bum!
I would appreciate any donation - big or small - it will all push me to keep running and complete my first ever charity run.
I am by no means a runner ... today I ran 5K and it took me 45 mins - so I will need to get some training in if I want a half decent time!
Thank you,
Ellie Wellie Fat Bum (my mum's nickname for me my whole life) x
