On the 4th September 2016 myself and Matt will be running Maidenhead Half Marathon in memory of Myles King. 

After a brief hiatus from racing in 2015 we can't think of a better reason to get back to it than to raise money and awareness for The Meningitis Research Foundation. 

On the 15th May 2015 my life long friend, Natalie King, and her husband Mark suffered the unimaginable loss of their youngest son Myles, at just 7 weeks old, to Meningitis. 

In the year and a bit that has passed since then Natalie and Mark have shown more strength than most of us could ever imagine. Whilst we know nothing can take away the pain they carry every day we hope that by raising money and awareness for The Meningitis Research Foundation we can help to stop another family having to go through such a horrendous tragedy. 

Running in memory of Myles King 23rd March 2015 - 15th May 2015.     You may be gone from sight but you are always in our hearts. xx
