Backstory 

In 2016 I completed the Manchester 10k to try and raise as much money for Chordoma UK. A few years have now passed and have now decided to set myself a new goal of running the Manchester half marathon with the added help of my girlfriend Elle this time. 

Why we are doing this / What does your raised money go towards 

As some of you may be aware my grandma was affected by this very rare condition for many years. I am determined to help raise any money I can to help try and prevent this happening to anybody else in the future. 

Chordoma is a rare cancer that effects roughly 1 in 800,000 people. The funds that are raised through this are needed to develop new therapies for controlling the growth of the tumor. 

Target

I raised £750 back in 2016 and of course by nature I am aiming to try and beat this.  

I am grateful to all the people we know who feel they may be able to donate whether it is a couple of pounds or more, as it all counts.
