Story

We are raising money for our cousin / niece Georgia.

After delivery in King Hamad Hospital in Bahrain, she was quickly taken to the NICU unit in the same hospital where she remains, through several tests it has become clear that she was born with three heart conditions that will require surgery to allow her to live.

The most serious of these conditions is a Type B interrupted aortic arch, this condition is rare and will require open heart surgery to insert a synthetic connection from the ascending to descending parts of the aorta. This surgery needs to take place in the next few weeks.

The surgery will take place in India, where the consultants and surgeons are skilled and experienced in this operation.

Along with the defected aorta is  Ventricle Septal Defect (VSD) which shows a hole approximately 0.7cm and Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) which shows a hole 0.2cm. To repair these holes will again require surgery to repair
