Keira is my truly amazing, beautiful chocolate Labrador who is now 11 years old. She loves her food, sleep and random playing with bubble wrap. Everyone who knows me understands that Keira means the absolute world to me and is a lovely member of our family. Unfortunately, over the last year we have seen a significant decline in Keira’s mobility and in November 2017, she was sadly diagnosed with inoperable lymphoma cancer.  As I’m sure everyone understands, especially those with animals, your pet is like your baby and you always want to look after them and protect them. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do to reverse the progress of Keira’s cancer but we are giving her the best life possible within the time we have left.

Therefore to try and be proactive, I’m embarking on Dryathlon in January in aid of Animal Cancer Trust, to try and raise money to help invest in research, to finally discover a cure to halt cancer in all species. Did you know that 1 in 4 dogs and 1 in 6 cats will be affected by cancer in their lifetime? 

Animal Cancer Trust is a great charity whose goal is to fight cancer by educating owners and participating in ETHICAL research and therefore with your help, we can actually make a difference and find a CURE so no one has to go through the struggle of losing someone they love dearly!
