Christie and I are going to be cycling 45 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh, taking part in the Pedal for Scotland event in hopes to raise money for the Simon Community Scotland charity. 

We are hoping to raise some money for the charity 'The Simon Community Scotland.' They are a great organisation who have been very helpful in Glasgow, providing support and assistance to vulnerable people living on the streets.  

Recently we met a 23 year old, begging outside the Oran Mor in Glasgow who couldn't read or write and so was not aware of his rights or how to gain access to support. We called the Simon charity the next morning who were incredibly helpful.

They  took a full description of him and said they would go out and find him that day to offer him support and a place to sleep. 

Homelessness in Glasgow is a massive problem that we see everyday and the Simon Community's vision is to provide everyone with a safe place to live and access to the support they need.
