Emerald O'Hanrahan is raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running a half-marathon - having only ever run a 5k event before! - to raise money for the amazing Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
My beautiful dad died in July 2015, at 56, after being diagnosed with cancer in April. He left behind his 5 children, 2 siblings and his mother, and a wonderful legacy of Music Therapy work. His illness was unbelievably short, but in those few months he received world-class care and real kindness from the Marsden hospital. The work they do in patient care and research is unparalleled, and they gave us options and hope. The whole experience of going there for appointments was so different to other hospital experiences - real, nourishing food; caring and kind nurses and respectful and knowledgable doctors willing to give us time and share all the available options.
My family and I will be so grateful for any amount you could give to ensure more and more people can face all types of cancer and survive.
