Story
Please take a minute to read this fully,
including the personal message at the end.
Updated Message: This page was originally created when (at the time) at least 120 Palestinians have now been killed and more than THIRTEEN THOUSAND wounded due to a sharp escalation in violence in Gaza following recent events at the time, including airstrikes upon the Gaza strip.
(Fast forward another year, another Ramadan - and Gaza continues to suffer from Israeli airstrikes)
---
The intensifying conflict and resultant casualties, which are expected to rise further over the coming weeks and days, have had a severe impact on medical facilities within Gaza.
Hospitals are overwhelmed, stretched to the limit and running out of medical supplies. There are reports of patients having to be discharged due to insufficient capacity, and of private cars, animals and tuk-tuks being used as emergency transportation due to the lack of ambulances.
Human Relief Foundation are responding to this need. We are working in partnership with local hospitals and providing both food & urgent medical supplies to ease the suffering of those injured & worst affected.
Please open your hearts and donate generously to those who are in desperate need of your assistance.
JazakumAllah khair

Finally, A Personal Message & Request:
I intend for this page to be a means of benefit for our sister Razan Al-Najjar, a 21-year-old Palestinian volunteer emergency medic, who was recently gunned down by Israeli soldiers - her white medics coat clearly visible - while aiding Palestinian casualties in the heart of the violence being perpetrated upon them.
I, like all who saw this news, was sickened by what had happened to her.
She died in service and perhaps through this, and other good works being done in her memory & inspired by her, even her death will continue to ultimately be a means of continuing goodness for the ummah that survives her after her murder. We pray Allah accepts her as a shaheeda, who died in His service - helping others.
A small request to consider before you donate: please intend for the reward of your donation to be gifted to Razan.
Please give generously & remember us, and more importantly those we are helping, in your du'as,
Humayun
