I thought that I would make use of my recently acquired professional cycling skills, after purchasing my first bike since childhood two weeks ago, by participating in a 24hr cycle challenge... yup.

On 1st December, I will be part of a team of 10 cycling the equivalent distance of London to Lapland (1500 miles) over a 24hr period, which equates to travelling at an average of 62.5mph - impossible. But made all the more possible with your help! For every £1 raised on the day, 1 mile will be added to our team total distance, making that 1500 mile mark even closer. But please, don't let me stop you from donating sooner, as the more money raised the better! Your donations will also be matched £4£, meaning the charity will receive twice as much as you donate (up to £500). 

This is all in aid of ITV's Text Santa appeal, which is supporting six fantastic charities this year. My stint on the bike will actually be covered live on air on ITV's This Morning, so look out for my bright red sweaty mug on the telly from 11am on 1st December.
