Here we go again!!

It seems every summer is just becoming a tiny bit harder, busier and more fitness related as they go by, but when I was offered a plane on the Battlefield Bike Ride this June how could I refuse? 

We will be cycling this year from Paris, all the way to Windsor Castle, which, last year, we were promised was going to be a mere 360 miles but resulted in being a whopping 420, so you'll understand that I'm slightly quaking in my trainers at the moment!

I will also be attempting my first Half Marathon this year (eek) and taking part in as many bike-rides as mum can sign me up for over coming weeks, starting with the Classic Oxfordshire 75 miler in May!

All of this will once again be in aid of the fabulous Help For Heroes, a charity completely dedicated to supporting those sick, wounded and injured servicemen and women. Although the war may be over, their battles are not and it is more important now more than ever that we support this inspirational cause.

Alongside me on the Battlefield Bike Ride will be those injured servicemen and women, many of whom on hand-bikes, who, since my first ride in 2012 have never ceased to amaze and inspire me.
